Okay, let’s face it. The Photo of Day project has fallen apart. I have failed. Oh well. It was fun while it was fun and then it was no longer fun so I stopped doing it. I have a bunch of pretty well thought out reasons why I failed, but they aren’t really important.
The point is that I don’t feel like posting a photo everyday. However, I have a consolation prize for myself: I’m expanding the photo of the day to include every type of content I store here at luxagraf.
So I’ll be posting something new every day, some days it might be a photo, but other days it will be something else, a link to something interesting, a book review, some short burst of thoughts or perhaps a movie.
I realized that the photo of the day was never about the photos, it was about stopping for five minutes a day to spend some time thinking about one particular thing that wasn’t in any way related to work, and that part of it still resonates with me. Fiddling with RAW settings and uploading images to Flickr, not so much.
So there you go, it’s now the something of the day. We’ll see how long this goes. Oh and I’ve decided to keep things to a sort of travel theme, though my definition of what relates to travel is pretty liberal so it’ll likely be a smorgasbord of stuff.
We’ll kick it off tomorrow.
