Travcos of the UP

There are quite a few Travcos around up here. We saw this one on our way to Marquette, which is the largest town around and pretty much the only place to stock up on groceries in these parts.

I posted that picture in the Travco Facebook group and asked if anyone knew whose it was. A couple days later when I checked the internet again sure enough, it was someone in the group’s Travco. There’s another one in that garage behind this one, yet another in the middle of town apparently (we never saw it), and just yesterday I noticed that the same guy had purchased another one.

Travcos are like water in the desert, you can go thousands of miles without seeing one, but then, if you’re in the right place at the right time you can drown in them.
