Patrick’s Point is a beautiful place. When you can see it. Most of the time it’s enveloped in cloud and mist. We drove in on a broken alternator (not knowingly, but it wasn’t charging the battery) and ended up stuck. Our solar system was no good in a place where the sun really doesn’t shine much. But one evening we were down the cliff from our campsite, on the seashore, and the setting sun conspired with the fog to let a few rays of light through. I made this image on the way back up the trail.
In developing this all I really wanted to do was up the contrast and cut some of the haze to emphasize the sunbeams more, nothing too complicated.
